Pitching relief by Turner and Garza prove valuable for AC in game 2 win

Clarendon College once again took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning before the Badgers rallied for a come-from-behind win.

Badger batters were struck out in order to end the first inning before AC's offense found its stroke at the plate in the second frame.

A Bulldog error, balk, and a fielder's choice on a Payton Bush grounder plated Grant Watkins, tying the game (1-1). A Prado double and Lawson Peel RBI single gave the Badgers a 2-1 lead after two innings.

Clarendon tied the game in the third frame and the Badgers took the lead for good in the bottom of the inning via a Bulldog error on a Sydney Ward grounder and a fielder's choice on a De Hoyos ground ball.

A Gerardo Prado triple and Jacob Sullens' sacrifice fly added a pair of insurance runs for AC during the fourth inning.

Bret Deegan, Isaac Garza, and Noah Turner combined to strikeout 12 Bulldog batters while allowing one earned run and five walks.
