Broncos cruise past Badgers, take 2-0 series lead

New Mexico Military Institute replicated their hot start to the series in game two as the Broncos took a 3-0 lead once again in the first inning.

AC faced an 8-0 deficit heading into the sixth frame before plating a pair of runs in the top of the inning.

NMMI scored one run in the sixth and seventh innings to put the run rule into effect.

David De Hoyos led the Badgers with a 2-of-3 performance at the plate.

Turners allowed three earned runs and one walk in 1 1/3 innings.

Garza pitched the sixth inning and allowed one earned run and no walks.

Beard allowed one earned run to end the game in the seventh.
