Cross Country

Badger Cross Country is making its first-ever appearance in NJCAA Division 1 and will compete in Region V of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference.

The athletes comprising AC’s men’s and women’s cross-country teams are derived mainly from the Texas Panhandle. Roster sizes range from 10-15 athletes on both Amarillo College Bagders teams, and all are extremely fast.

Says Head Coach Sean Hargrove: “My goal is to make Amarillo College the most impressive cross-country program with the athletes of the Texas Panhandle and bring home a National Championship.”

Cross-country athletes can expect their overall experiences will be consistent with the educational goals set forth by Amarillo College and in concert with the academic programs of the school.
