Before Amarillo College
- Was a three-time state cross country qualifier (2021-23) in Class 4A
- Recorded his best finish and time at the state meet as a sophomore, clocking a 16:56
- Ran personal-record 16:06 5K at the 4A District 4 meet in 2021
- Placed 8th the regional meet in 2021, 14th in 2022, 24th in 2023, 35th in 2020
- Was a two-time regional qualifier in track, doing so as a sophomore in the 1,600-meter run and the 3,200 as a freshman
- Won a 4A District 4 title in the 3,200-meter run as a sophomore in a time of 10:13
