AC pummels Bulldogs in Blue Out

Amarillo College's first themed volleyball match in program history was one for the record books.

Badger fans packed the stands and witnessed one of most complete performances of the season by AC. The Badgers swept Clarendon College (25-16, 25-18, 25-19) for the second time this season during Blue Out Night at the FirstBank Southwest Center on Wednesday.

Scott Sandel's squad dished out a season-high 14 aces – the second-highest mark in program history -- and surpassed their conference win total from a season ago with the victory.

The result secured the Badgers' fourth Western Junior Athletic Conference win in their second-to-last home game.

Sophomore Jaron McAden tied the single-game ace record (6) and displayed her all-around skillset, recording team-high totals in kills (9) and blocks (3).

Sophomores Skylar Rivers (18 assists) and Taylor Irving (18 digs) led Amarillo College in their respective position groups.
